TailScreen Remote Desktop
Your Mac on iPad via Tailscale
$14.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
iPad
Control your Mac from your iPad with hardware HEVC video at up to 120 fps. Touch, trackpad, keyboard and a shared clipboard – directly over your own Tailscale network.
TailScreen puts your Mac on your iPad – fast, sharp and private.
Your Mac encodes its screen with its own media engine in HEVC or H.264 at up to 120 frames per second and streams it straight to your iPad over your Tailscale network. There is no cloud service in between and no account to create.
FAST
• Hardware video up to 120 fps, with quality that adapts to your network
• Lost packets are repaired on the fly, so the picture never smears
• The Mac cursor is drawn on the iPad itself and moves without delay
MADE FOR TOUCH
• Drag to scroll the page under your finger, with momentum
• Pinch to zoom into any part of the Mac screen
• Tap to click, two fingers for right click, three for middle click
• Long-press and drag to select text or move windows
• Trackpad mode moves the cursor like a laptop trackpad
KEYBOARD, TRACKPAD AND MOUSE
• Magic Keyboard, trackpad and mouse work just like on a Mac
• A key bar adds Esc, Tab, ⌘ ⌥ ⌃ ⇧, arrows and navigation keys to the on-screen keyboard
• Switch the Mac’s input language from the iPad
SHARED CLIPBOARD
• Copy on the Mac, paste on the iPad
• Send iPad text to the Mac and paste it with one tap
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Connections stay inside your own tailnet, encrypted by Tailscale
• Pair once with a PIN or QR code; later connections sign in automatically
• No accounts, no analytics, no tracking
WHAT YOU NEED
• TailScreen on your iPad and on your Mac – one purchase includes both
• Tailscale (free) on both devices, signed in to the same tailnet
• macOS 14 or later and iPadOS 18 or later
Available in English and Bulgarian.
