Every recipe has its ingredients, step photos, tips and how to store it. The Home screen counts down to the next holiday, with collections picked by our editors. Search by ingredient Search looks inside every ingredient: type "cranberry" and find the sauce, the appetizers and the desserts that use it. Then filter by course, by diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, egg-free) and by cooking method, air fryer included. "Quick and easy", "Traditional", "Under 30 min" and "Easy" get you to the right recipe fast. Cook step by step, with timers Tap "Start cooking": one step per screen, with its photo. Every step with a time has its own timer, which keeps running on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Run several at once, even from different recipes, and a Christmas tune plays when time is up. The screen stays on while the app is open, so you never touch it with floury hands. Holiday menus Thanksgiving Dinner, Feast of the Seven Fishes, Christmas Dinner and New Year's Eve Party are ready for you to fill, and you can add your own. Tap the bookmark to add a recipe to a menu and keep the whole table in one place. Print for the table With the unlock, print your menu like fine stationery, with a design for each holiday: holly for Christmas, fir and stars for Christmas Eve, gold and black Art Deco for New Year's Eve. Choose a full page, a half page or three tall menu cards, one per place setting, and rename the dishes before printing. You can also print a recipe book with every dish on the menu, or a single recipe. Favorites and notes Tap the heart to keep a recipe in your Favorites. Add your own notes to any recipe: the quantities for your table, the family trick, what to change next year. Recipe of the day If you like, get the recipe of the day (daily, three times a week or once a week) and a heads-up when new recipes and collections arrive. You choose which notifications and how often. Even offline With the unlock, the recipes you open stay in the app and you can read them without a connection. You'll find them in "Recently read". Coins and the unlock, plainly The app is free to download. Opening a recipe uses one coin, every time you open it. You get a few coins as a gift when you first open the app and can earn more by watching a short video; the counter at the top shows how many you have and, if they expire, when. The free version may show ads. "Unlock the app" is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: every recipe with no coins and no ads, printable menus and recipes, and the recipes you open saved for offline reading. Restore it on your other devices with the same Apple Account. Works on iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo it uses the whole inner screen: open, a recipe becomes a book, with the photo on one side and the text on the other; set on the table, cooking mode shows the step at the top and the controls at the bottom, within reach.
