Backsleeve

More about the music

Free

Independent music with more behind it. Explore releases, listen to available tracks, and read the lyrics, credits and stories shared by artists. Listen to the music. Meet the people behind it. Backsleeve brings independent releases together with the artwork, lyrics, credits and stories that give them context. Open a release like a record sleeve: explore its tracks on the front, then turn to the people and details behind the music. • Discover published releases and artist catalogues. • Play available full tracks or clearly labelled previews, with a queue and background playback. • Read artist-provided lyrics and credits while listening. • Save releases, favourite tracks and follow artists. • Keep your library on your device, or sign in to sync saved music and follows. • Choose optional notifications for new releases from artists you follow. • Share releases and open the artist’s published links. Public listening does not require an account. Audio is provided by artists: some releases have full tracks, some have previews, and others offer artwork and sleeve information without audio. Backsleeve shows availability before you play. Artists can open their workspace from Profile to manage their catalogue through Backsleeve’s web publishing tools. An independent catalogue, with more about the music.
