Mythic Tales is a spatial pet game created for Apple Vision Pro. Your owl flies, perches, feeds, and hunts within your surroundings, responding to your voice and hand movements with expressive animation and spatial sound.
IMMERSIVE INTERACTION
• Hold out your forearm and invite the owl to land.
• Keep your arm steady to pet its feathers or offer food.
• A sudden arm movement startles the owl and sends it back into flight.
VOICE COMMANDS
Say commands such as “come here,” “look around,” “go to the tree,” “eat,” “hunt,” and “whack-a-mole.” Name your owl when you first meet; calling that name will also bring it to you. A built-in command guide and interactive tutorial help you learn each action.
A PERCH IN YOUR SPACE
Place and resize a virtual tree anywhere in the room. The owl recognizes it as home and returns there to rest. You can also place a virtual play mat wherever you want to begin training.
WHACK-A-MOLE TRAINING
Mice appear randomly from three holes. Poke or swat a mouse to stun it, then pinch, lift, and carry it to the owl’s beak. Difficulty builds from gentle first rounds to faster, more demanding stages, resetting to level one each day.
CARE AND BOND
A piece of meat restores 1 hunger point and a mouse restores 5. Feeding mice earned through the training game can also raise your bond, up to 3 points per day.
SPATIAL AUDIO AND DAILY RHYTHM
Directional calls, wingbeats, and fly-by sounds help you sense where your owl is around you. Its activity also changes with the real-world time of day.
Available in Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese.
Apple Vision Pro is required. Voice commands require microphone and speech-recognition access. Hand interactions require hand-tracking access.
