Drive a Boston subway train from a life-size cab.
Four lines: Red (Alewife to Braintree), Orange (Oak Grove to Forest Hills), Blue (Wonderland to Bowdoin), and Green E (Medford/Tufts to Heath St). Each line has its own train and its own cab.
Work the controls by hand. Drag the master controller through power, coast, and brake. Turn the reverser key. Sound the horn, ring the gong, acknowledge ATC, open and close the doors on the correct side.
Pick up the PA mic and announce each stop. Speech recognition checks the announcement on device.
Track follows real station positions with grades, curves, tunnels, elevated runs, and street running. Speed limits come from the curves. Exceed them and the ATC alarm sounds, then the penalty brake applies.
Each run is scored on stopping accuracy, announcements, and time against par. Overruns, skipped stations, wrong-side doors, and missed announcements cost points.
