FamilyLore reads the handwriting your family left behind.
Scan a page of an old letter, diary or record with the document scanner, or pick a photo. FamilyLore reads it line by line in its own language, then translates it into English.
Every word is linked to the page. Tap a word and the photo moves to it, with its outline lit on the handwriting. Tap the handwriting and the word is chosen in the text. If a word is wrong, fix it with the handwritten word shown right above the field.
Russian, Ukrainian, German Kurrent and Sütterlin, Yiddish and more. Learn the old scripts yourself, letter by letter, from real family documents.
Your pages stay in your Library, with collections for each family or branch. Reading a page a day is free, for ever: just sign in. Without an account you can try three pages.
Plus and Ultimate are optional auto-renewing subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings.
