Music, Beautifully Discovered

Free · In‑App Purchases

Music, beautifully discovered: find stations from all over the world playing your music – with the song's cover, an animated cassette with your name or a tape recorder. Final Radio – music, beautifully discovered. Over 50,000 radio stations from more than 240 countries. For the songs you see title and artist straight from the station, with the matching album cover. Discover music you didn't know yet, and find old favorites again. COVER, CASSETTE OR TAPE RECORDER Instead of the cover, a music cassette or a reel-to-reel tape recorder can turn with the music. Eleven cassettes to choose from, clear ones too. Station and song are handwritten on the label, plus your own name or a word of your choice. The tape recorder has a counter and needles that move with the music. On iPhone, one button brings the cassette to the full screen. DISCOVER INSTEAD OF SEARCH The charts show what is played most right now in your country, on your continent or worldwide. Browse by genre, from the 60s to techno, from jazz to schlager, or tap "Surprise me". Looking for something special? A few words are enough; filters for country, language and sound quality do the rest. KEEP THE SONGS YOU LOVE Like a song? Add it to your Apple Music library with one tap, in its own "Final Radio" playlist. The history keeps every song you heard. MUSIC TO WATCH Nine visualizers dance to the real sound of your station, with eight color schemes. WITH YOU EVERYWHERE • iPhone and iPad: with widget, lock screen, Control Center and AirPlay • iPhone Duo: unfolded, the cover on one side, the cassette and all controls on the other • In the car: with CarPlay. Over Bluetooth, long titles scroll by. • Apple Watch: as a remote, with complications for your watch face • Apple TV: your favorites right on the home screen • Mac: as its own app • Siri: "Play 80s80s with Final Radio" FALL ASLEEP TO MUSIC The sleep timer fades out gently and stops the radio when you want. YOUR STATIONS, YOUR WAY Sort favorites, add your own stations by stream address, share stations, back up your favorites and restore them. With iCloud, your favorites are the same on all your devices. FREE. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO SIGN-UP. Final Radio collects no data about you and needs no account. If you like, the app keeps your favorites in sync through your own iCloud; we have no access to it. Station data comes from Radio Browser, a free community database. Note: any ads you hear come from the radio station, not from Final Radio. In over 40 languages. Made with love for music in Germany.

New in version 1.1.1: • Your own text: write whatever you like on the cassette and the tape recorder – your name, a word, a greeting. • Your iPhone becomes a cassette: one tap shows the cassette full screen, with station and song on the label. Swipe to turn it over. • Now for iPhone Duo: unfolded, the cover on the left, cassette or tape recorder with all controls on the right. A swipe swaps cover and cassette. • Eleven cassettes to choose from, clear ones too. • The tape recorder has a counter, and its reels turn smoothly and evenly. • More text in your language, in the widgets too. • Six app icons to choose from. • Switch cover, cassette and visualizer with a swipe. • Lots of small improvements, including a smoother player on iPad.
