A short demo shows how Canvless works before you sign in: a canvass on sample cameras that lists which footage runs out first, then placing and aiming a camera. Nothing in the demo is real, and it never replaces verification: the map still opens only for verified law enforcement. Also new: a more detailed app icon.

Ad measurement, so more officers can find Canvless. Nothing about your map, your cameras or your notes is ever shared, and you can decline tracking when iOS asks with no change to the app.

Subscribe right in the app: $3.99 a month or $39.99 a year through Apple, or on canvless.app as before. Team canvass: invite officers from your department, everyone sees the same list of cameras and marks each one as they go, live on every phone. The canvass page is new: the map stays visible above it, the camera whose footage runs out first is on top with Directions and Details, and every camera shows how long its footage lasts on one time line. A short tour shows new officers around on first launch. Settings shows where you pay. The map is faster, the app tells you when a newer version is out, and smaller fixes now arrive without a store update.

The map turns now. Spin it with two fingers to line it up with the street in front of you, or tap the compass button and the map turns as you do, so the top of the screen is the way you're facing. Tap the compass again to put north back on top. The map straightens itself when you start a canvass or add a camera.

Settings has a new look: your account and status up top, quick actions for sharing and support, and every option showing its current setting. Find a camera by its name from the map's search box. Share a canvass as a plain list from the Canvass screen. Sign-in now tells you up front whether your agency email is pre-verified. Also: crash reporting so we can fix problems faster, and small fixes.

The computer version is here. Open web.canvless.app on a computer, sign in, and approve it from your phone under Settings → Link a computer. It stays signed in for 12 hours, or until you sign it out from your phone. Also: give a camera a name when you add it, the business or the address, and that name shows wherever the camera does; your account status in plain words under Settings; a spinner while an address search runs; and small fixes.

Tap the locate button to start from where you're standing instead. • The map keeps moving while you aim a camera. • "Still here" no longer waits forever for a GPS fix. • Clearer messages when there's no signal, when an account is paused, or when you've been signed out. • Search finds businesses and cross streets, not just addresses. • Fixes for map pins and camera cards.
