TimberMeasure: Shop Calculator
Board feet, fractions & cuts
$4.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Bring clarity to the workbench: board feet, tape fractions, equal spacing and locally saved cut lists in one offline woodworking companion.
Plan your next woodworking project with clear measurements and an organized cut list. TimberMeasure is a focused, offline companion for the shop and lumber yard.
• Calculate board feet from actual stock dimensions in inches or millimeters, with quantity and a price per board foot.
• Lay out evenly spaced slats with fixed edge margins. See the clear gap, center-to-center pitch and leading-edge marks.
• Convert decimal and fractional measurements into inches, millimeters, centimeters and feet. Round to the nearest 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64 inch tape division.
• Create and edit local projects with named parts, quantities and individual units. See net board feet, a waste allowance and a material cost estimate in your currency.
• Share a readable text summary or export your cut list as CSV.
• Read original shop notes on stock sizes, kerf, joint types, grain direction and repeatable layout.
Works on iPhone and iPad. No account, advertising, analytics or in-app purchases. All calculations and saved projects work without an internet connection.
Use actual dimensions and verify fit before cutting. Material estimates do not optimize board layouts or include kerf, taxes, hardware or finishing supplies. Shop notes describe general concepts and are not structural designs or machine operating instructions. Prices are entered in your own currency; currency conversion is not provided.
