Keep your next line close to the camera. Write scripts, follow your voice, record on iPhone or iPad, and control your prompter from Apple Watch. Keep your thoughts in view and your eyes near the camera. Promptly brings your scripts to iPhone, iPad and Mac, with Apple Watch controls for your paired iPhone. WRITE AND REHEARSE Find scripts by their full titles and opening text. Write in a focused manuscript editor with bold, italic and underline, then choose Rehearse to enter the prompter. Start with two editable guides: one for using Promptly and one for moving your scripts between devices. Adjust text size, spacing, contrast, mirroring and session behavior to suit your setup. FOLLOW YOUR VOICE Supported on-device speech recognition helps the prompter follow what you say. Pause, resume or move between sentences with the app controls. Mac users can also use keyboard shortcuts and place the floating prompter below their camera. RECORD YOUR TAKE On iPhone and iPad, use the front camera to record while reading. Promptly keeps the video and a companion JSON file. When supported on-device transcription succeeds, that file contains the recognized speech and segment timecodes measured from the start of the video. The original script is stored separately from the recognized speech. Failed or pending transcription never replaces your video. KEEP YOUR LIBRARY WITH YOU Use the same Apple Account and enable iCloud Drive to sync scripts and recording packages through your private iCloud account. Local saves remain available while transfers are pending. Large videos need an internet connection, free iCloud space and time to finish transferring. CONTROL ANOTHER SCREEN Pair your iPhone with an open Mac or iPad prompter on the same local network using its pairing code. Apple Watch controls the paired iPhone, or relays controls to that connected prompter. Keep Promptly open on the iPhone and target device while using remote controls. Promptly is free, with no advertising or tracking. Speech recognition runs on your device; language and device support vary.
