DRUM RIFF
Drum practice & timing
Free · In‑App Purchases
DRUM RIFF is a drum practice app for iPhone and iPad. Play along with scrolling notation and improve your timing by seeing exactly how early or late each hit was. You can also edit the notation for the songs you want to practice.
【Practice with electronic drums】
Connect a MIDI-compatible electronic drum kit and play with your own instrument. The app supports both portrait and landscape orientations, and lets you assign each pad to the instrument sound you want. Compatibility depends on your device and connection method.
【Practice anywhere with on-screen pads】
No electronic drums? Practice anytime with the on-screen pads, with no external equipment required.
【See your timing】
Review whether each hit was early or late, measured in milliseconds. Check your results after playing and understand your timing tendencies.
【Repeat the parts you need】
Choose the measures, speed, and number of passes to practice. Use the metronome and guide sounds at your own pace.
【Create your own notation】
Place notes on the score and edit the phrases you want to practice. Copy and paste, repeat signs, D.C., D.S., and coda are supported.
Sample scores are included, so you can start practicing without an account.
• Practice up to 10 songs for free. In-app purchases add 20 storage slots or remove the song limit.
• Timing measurements are affected by your device, audio equipment, and calibration settings.
