Biking Radar is a standalone Apple Watch app for cyclists using compatible Bluetooth rear-radar hardware.
Connect a supported radar directly from your watch. While the app is active, Biking Radar shows reported vehicles and their approximate distance behind the rider. You can also choose to save an outdoor cycling workout to Health.
Features:
• Shows reported vehicles and approximate rearward distance
• Plays a watch notification when a newly reported vehicle appears
• Reconnects to the last selected radar when available
• Includes animated sample traffic when no radar is connected
• Offers optional diagnostics to capture radar data and mark issues from the radar screen
• Lets you add issue descriptions afterward and share captured data and reports as a ZIP file
Diagnostics captures are stored on your watch until you delete them. Nothing is uploaded automatically.
Safety:
Radar readings may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Biking Radar and compatible hardware can improve situational awareness, but do not replace cyclist attentiveness and good judgment. Always monitor traffic and your surroundings, and operate your bicycle safely. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
