• Poses: twenty ready poses in four groups, each with a picture of it in the menu, and raised hands stay in view. • Layers: thumbnails and names lead each row and visibility sits at its end, clipped layers are set in under what they clip to, and compact rows show a blend mode or opacity that isn't the usual. • The gallery and drawing previews load faster, and Rindraw stays responsive while it exports or prints. • A new perspective guide starts with every point on screen, however you've zoomed or turned the canvas. • On iPhone, the timelapse controls, the welcome and floating windows such as Reference fit the screen, and floating windows have a neater close button. • Notification Center and Control Center open with the first pull from the top. • The Brush Companion is readable in dark mode.

• Pen and shapes: put points down for smooth lines, reshape any stroke's path, and draw rectangles, ellipses, polygons, stars and lines that combine and stay editable. SVG files open as shapes and export as paths. • Selection: Quick Select and Object find what you paint over or box in, Remove Background lifts the subject out, and Heal, now a brush too, paints things away. • Transform: Elastic resizes while keeping detail, Puppet pins go in front or behind, and Twirl, Pinch, Spherize, Ripple, Wave and more bend the paint as Warp does. • Adjustments: Channel Mixer, Selective Color, Replace Color, Photo Filter, Equalize and Shadows & Highlights, filters that clear specks and grain, and brushes that dodge, burn, saturate and desaturate. • Krita files open with their layers, and zoom goes to 6400% with lines sharp and pixels shown. • AR: paint a 3D model where it stands in the room, and lay a drawing on paper to trace it. • Animation grows into tracks: frames on many tracks play at once, on a timeline you open out from the strip of frames, each frame held as long as you drag it. • Keyframes move, scale, turn, fade, blur, sharpen and recolor a track, eased in or out, and Distort, Warp and Lens Blur bend and soften it. • Perform: drag, pinch or turn a track, or move a slider, while the movie plays, and Rindraw keeps what you did as keyframes. • Sound and video: sounds as rows of the timeline, your voice recorded to the frames, and videos and animated pictures on tracks. • Export as ProRes, as a picture for each frame, or as a GIF of few colors, and see a preview before it's made. • Play, scrub and step through frames with Apple Pencil, and animate with keyboard shortcuts of their own. • Text: strike words through, write into a text box with Apple Pencil, and drop in fonts to use them. • Layers: flatten a group, try blend modes on the canvas from a list beside the layer, and transform several picked layers together. • The brush outline can show while you paint, and in one style for every brush. Noise can keep to the paint. The outline takes each tip's own shape, and with a trackpad or mouse the pointer is the brush. • Clone copies from its source as you paint with Apple Pencil, a finger or a mouse. • Settings: every setting in one place, with a sidebar and search; its own window on a Mac. • With a keyboard or on a Mac, the menu bar has Layer, Canvas, View and Help menus with your shortcuts, plus Open Recent, Print and Settings. • Brushes: Wiggle brushes whose lines wander as a hand's do, an Animation set, and brushes from MyPaint and Procreate Dreams. • Text layers ask before you paint on them: on a new layer above, or on the words, rasterized. Add Text is in the ••• menu. • Fonts: more than 100 open-licensed fonts come with Rindraw, hundreds more from Apple download as you pick them, and fonts shared or AirDropped open in Rindraw. • Transform: undo steps back inside it, a tap nudges by a point on screen, and it starts in the mode you used last. The selection bar names each button. • Keep your own gradients in the Gradient Map's library, and turn pen pressure off for an even line. • Crash, performance and error reports now go to us to help fix problems: never your drawings or who you are. Settings › Privacy turns it off.

• 304 built-in brushes in 36 sets: pencils, inks, watercolor, charcoal, airbrushing, spray paint, comics, patterns, light and more, each on tips and paper textures of its own. • New blenders pick up the paint under them and carry it on, soft or hard. • Pressure curves you shape with points: for each brush in Brush Studio, and for its size, opacity, flow and bleed on their own, and for every brush in Pencil settings. Procreate brushes bring their curves. • Face Paint: on devices with Face ID, the Reference window shows your drawing on your face, live. • Reference: open more than one window, each with its own picture and zoom; blur a picture to see its values, as squinting does; lock the zoom in place. • Help now has Contact Support, to email us about a problem, and Suggest a Feature. • Procreate palettes import, and so does a ZIP of palettes or brushes. • Fixes a rare crash when filling a shape or making a selection.

• Insert Photo… and Insert File… now take several pictures at once, and a stack of images dropped on the canvas all comes in. Each goes on a layer of its own, in the order you picked. • With windowed apps on, dragging the color onto the canvas fills, instead of moving the window or shrinking it out of full screen. • Color Cards and Palettes now open over the canvas, not off the edge of the screen. • Draw with Finger stays as you set it. Once you've drawn with Apple Pencil, a finger no longer draws, so a hand resting on the screen leaves no marks. To draw with a finger too, turn on Draw with Finger in the ⋯ menu.

Locked stacks stay locked. Their drawings no longer show up in widgets, Spotlight or Shortcuts, and opening one from there asks you to unlock it first. Also new in 1.1: • Reminders to draw, at a time you pick. They skip days you've already drawn, bring back the drawing you were working on, and can include a daily prompt or a drawing from this day years ago. • Tips as you draw, if you want them, and help bringing your work over from Procreate. • Long jobs, like big exports, keep going when you switch apps. • A tap you can feel when a selection, the canvas or the symmetry guide snaps into place. • Clearer messages when something can't be saved or opened. • A drawing saved by a newer Rindraw is left untouched, and you're asked to update.
