Refine: Active Recall Reader

Read it once. Remember it for good.
Refine is an active recall reader for textbooks, research papers and books. Scan a cover or open a PDF, get every chapter as a short summary, see how the ideas connect, then let spaced repetition bring each idea back just before you'd forget it.
SCAN A BOOK, GET EVERY CHAPTER
Point your camera at a cover or barcode. Refine finds the book and writes a two-minute summary of each chapter: the argument, the key takeaways and the reasoning behind them. Know whether a book is worth your time before you commit.
A PDF READER THAT TEACHES BACK
Import a textbook, a lecture PDF or an arXiv paper. Code stays as code, equations stay as equations, and tables keep their shape. Get a research paper's question, method and result in one read, then go as deep as you need.
BUILT FOR STEM
Physics, chemistry, biology, calculus, machine learning, computer science, finance: Refine breaks dense material into chapters you can finish and questions you can answer. Made for students, engineers, researchers and quants who read to learn.
ACTIVE RECALL AND SPACED REPETITION
Reading isn't remembering. Short daily reviews ask you to recall each idea, not just recognise it, and schedule it again just before you'd forget. A couple of minutes a day, with a reminder at the time you usually read.
A CONCEPT MAP FOR EVERY CHAPTER
Each chapter becomes a map of its ideas and how one causes, limits or explains another. Place the concepts yourself, follow one idea across the whole book, and ask "what if?" to see what changes when an idea moves.
READ OR LISTEN
Every chapter as a short read or a full read. Switch on read-along and each line lights up as a natural voice reads it aloud, so you never lose your place, on a walk, a commute or at your desk.
