Echo - Notes and Tasks
Your thoughts, kept close
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Echo is a simple, private place for everything you want to remember. Write notes, plan with checklists and keep photos and videos together, all in one calm, beautiful app.
Your notes stay on your device. There's no account to create, no sign in and nothing to sync. Echo doesn't collect any of your data.
TABS FOR EVERYTHING IN A NOTE
Every note can hold as many tabs as you like, and each tab is its own kind. Keep a trip's packing list, plans and photos side by side in one note.
• Text: Write freely. Echo recognizes Markdown and JSON as you type and shows them nicely formatted, with headings, lists, tasks and a collapsible JSON view.
• Checklist: Plan anything, from groceries to projects. Every item can be New, In Progress, On Hold or Completed.
• Gallery: Gather photos and videos from your library or take new ones with the camera.
CHECKLISTS THAT DO MORE
• Add details, a date and a time to any item
• Group items by status, and fold away what's done
• Log the time you spend on each item and see the total at a glance
• Drag items to put them in order
STAY ORGANIZED
• Pin the notes you use most
• Sort by date edited, date created, title, or your own order
• Search across all your notes and every tab in them
• Deleted something by mistake? Notes stay in the Trash for 30 days, so you can bring them back
MADE FOR iPHONE AND iPAD
• A clean design built with Liquid Glass
• Light and dark appearance, and a choice of accent colors
• Works with Dynamic Type and VoiceOver
• Share any tab with the apps you already use
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything you write stays in Echo, on your device. No ads, no analytics, no accounts.
