Selah: Prayer Pause
A quiet reminder to pray
Only for Mac

Mac
A calm nudge from your notch, a verse, and one tap to say Amen. No accounts, no tracking, no nagging.
Selah is a quiet prayer reminder that lives at the top of your Mac.
Every so often, a small bar grows out of the notch: "Time for prayer." A verse from the King James Bible appears. Begin when you are ready, or put it off for five minutes. When you finish, tap Amen, and the bar folds back into the notch until the next time.
It is not a timetable, a Bible study app, or a dashboard. It is one gentle loop: idle, nudge, due, praying, Amen.
HOW IT FEELS
- A soft countdown ring appears shortly before prayer is due, so it never ambushes you.
- A short verse for the moment, from 22 hand-checked passages in the King James Version.
- A breathing ring while you pray. Reduce Motion is respected.
- Snooze a few times if you need to, then Selah asks once more.
- Optional soft chime and optional screen dimming, both off until you turn them on.
YOUR PRAYER LIFE, KEPT PRIVATE
- Streaks count days with at least one Amen. A missed day is never scolded.
- A History view shows your week, your last months, and your longest runs.
- Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no sign-in, no network access, no analytics.
MADE FOR THE MAC
- Works with the notch, and on displays without one it shows a small pill instead.
- Choose to show it on the built-in display, an external display, or the display you are working on.
- Set active hours so it stays silent at night and during work you protect.
- Lives in your menu bar and Dock. Open at login only if you choose.
