Where TF: Where To Find
Remember where you put things
Free · In‑App Purchases
A name. A place. An answer. Remember where you put everyday things, then find them from a small clue. Your library stays on your device.
Put it away. Find it again.
Where TF helps you remember where you put everyday things: a passport, spare keys, a charger, or something stored safely for later. Save a name and a written place, then find the answer from the clues you remember.
REMEMBER IN ONE PASS
Add an item with its storage place and an optional photo. Add notes, tags, or alternate names when they help.
FIND WITH A SMALL CLUE
Search saved names, places, notes, tags, and alternate names. Organize places into rooms, shelves, and containers, then update them when things move.
A USEFUL FREE CORE
Keep up to 15 items with one photo each. Search, Locations, protected items, and complete Files backup/import stay free. No account is required, and your library does not automatically synchronize between devices.
MORE ROOM WITH PLUS
The optional one-time lifetime upgrade adds unlimited items, up to five photos per item, video up to 30 seconds, voice notes up to 60 seconds, reviewed on-device voice text where supported, map points, nearby reminders, extra themes, and private sharing links. Nearby reminder delivery depends on iOS settings and conditions.
A separate free three-day trial includes three device-local private-link creations. It ends after 72 hours, does not renew, and never automatically charges you. Saved records and media remain available after the trial, and complete backup/import stays free. The permanent upgrade requires a separate purchase; its current regional price appears in the app.
SHARING YOU CHOOSE
Review a copy of the item's name, written place, and any notes, photos, video, or voice note you choose to include. Links expire after three or seven days and allow one, three, five, or ten opens. Selected content is encrypted on your device before temporary hosting; the decryption key travels in the link. Anyone with the complete link can use its remaining allowance, and recipients may retain copies. Links do not update when you move an item and cannot be revoked early. Sharing a protected item requires fresh device authentication and your explicit review.
RECEIVE AND KEEP A COPY
View a shared item without adding it to your library. In Where TF, choose Add to my items, review the pre-filled details, then Save to keep an independent editable copy. Existing item and media limits apply. If you copied a private link before installing, open Where TF and tap Paste under Received an item? A waiting link stays available through relaunch until you save or remove it. Pasting does not reset a link's expiry or open allowance.
YOUR LIBRARY STAYS LOCAL
Where TF has no advertising or third-party analytics. Optional Apple maps, directions, Siri, and purchases use Apple services. Device authentication protects access to selected items; it is not a separate encrypted vault. Complete backups are unencrypted and include protected records, so choose a Files destination you trust.
