New episode out and you're not there yet? Hushplot blurs the titles, thumbnails and recaps of what you haven't watched.
Behind on a show? Hushplot keeps the rest of it a surprise.
Tell Hushplot which shows you follow and the last episode you watched. While you browse in Safari, it blurs the titles, thumbnails and synopses of every later episode, so a recommended video, a search result or a discussion thread can't give the next twist away. Tap any hidden item to see it anyway.
WHERE IT WORKS
• YouTube – video titles, thumbnails, Shorts and comments
• Netflix – episode titles, stills and synopses in the episode list
• Google Search – results, news cards and videos
• Reddit – posts, thumbnails and comments, including show communities
HOW IT DECIDES
• Knows every episode of your shows, so "S2E7", "2x07", "Season 2 Episode 7" and even an episode's own title are recognised
• Leaves episodes you've already seen alone
• "Season finale", "ending explained", "who dies" and other give-aways are hidden while you're behind
• Optional strict mode hides every mention of a show until you catch up
• One tap moves you to the next episode when you've watched it
LIGHT AND PRIVATE
• Runs only on the four sites above, and only on the ones you switch on
• Built to stay light: it looks only at the parts of a page that changed
• Your shows and progress stay in Safari on your device. No account, no tracking, no ads
• Site layouts change; Hushplot's site rules update on their own, without waiting for an app update
FREE AND PRO
Free hides spoilers for one show on one site. Hushplot Pro, a single one-time purchase, covers every show you follow on all four sites, on your Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Episode information comes from TVmaze.com (CC BY-SA). Hushplot is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Netflix, Google or Reddit.
