Gooseneck Grand Prix is a 3D truck racer set on a Texas livestock-show circuit. Most races put you against five rivals on a short track with bale walls, pipe gates and cattle crossings, and every show ends in a one-on-one boss race. Answer gates cross the road, each lane holding a possible answer to a livestock question. Drive through the right lane to refuel your truck and charge your nitro. Pick the wrong lane and you lose fuel. Run dry and you coast to a stop, so every question counts.
HOW IT PLAYS
- Hold your thumb down to drive and let go to slow down.
- Slide to change lanes.
- Right answers refuel the truck and charge your nitro. Tap NITRO for a burst of speed.
- Two right answers in a row charge a bump. Tap BUMP to spin out the rival just ahead for a moment. Only you can bump, and rivals never bump you back.
- Questions cover six livestock topics: breeds, reproduction and genetics, nutrition, disease and parasites, marketing, and carcass evaluation.
FIVE SHOWS, FORTY RACES
Work your way around a five-stop Texas season, from a county fair through the Hill Country, the Panhandle and the Gulf Coast to the big final show. Each stop has eight races, its own sky, ground and light, its own rivals, and a boss to beat one-on-one before you move on.
YOUR GARAGE
Eight trucks, from a single-cab pickup to a lifted mud truck and a show rig with a stock trailer. Win trophies and prize money, then spend it in the garage to upgrade your speed, acceleration and nitro, add accessories and pick a new paint.
MEET JOE
After each race, Joe, the rancher coach, talks you through it. Missed a question? Tap Why?, How do I remember it? or Another example. Every question has a written explanation from Joe, and he reads it aloud if you choose Speak for Joe's voice in Settings. Missed questions come back in later races until you have them down, and Practice your misses brings them back when they are ready. Your mastery in each topic and your day streak show how much you have learned.
THE DAILY RACE
Every day brings one race that is the same for everyone: same track, same questions, same truck. Your time and right answers are ranked on a Game Center leaderboard, and a second board counts your right answers over time. Game Center is optional. Without it the whole game still plays and your scores stay on your device.
SIRI AND SHORTCUTS
On iOS 17.2 or later, tell Siri "Start today's race in Gooseneck Grand Prix" to jump straight to the daily race. The Shortcuts app also offers a Quiz Me action for any topic.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
There is nothing to sign up for. The game collects no personal data, and your progress stays on your device.
