Basement. Ladder. No signal. Type a fraction, read the marks, mark the pipe. Offsets, saddles, stub-ups, voltage drop and wire size, all of it offline.
A 6" offset at 30°: 12" between the marks, 1-1/2" of shrink. Type the height, tap the angle, mark the pipe.
Bend Bench is 12 calculators for electricians and apprentices: conduit bending marks and everyday electrical math, built for the job site and fully offline.
8 bends, each with a diagram
Every bend draws the pipe with numbered marks and the distances between them.
• Offset, with near or far critical bend and a distance from the pipe end
• Rolling Offset: rise and roll in, true offset and pipe rotation out
• 3-Point Saddle and 4-Point Saddle
• 90° Stub-Up from your bender's take-up, with gain and cut length when you add the radius and second leg
• Kick
• Back-to-Back 90
• Parallel Offsets for two to six conduits
Marks are measured along the pipe, and each mark is rounded on its own: to 1/16" or 1/8", or to whole millimeters in metric.
4 electrical calculators
• Ohm's Law: enter any two of voltage, current, resistance and power
• Power: kW, kVA and amps for DC, single-phase and three-phase, with power factor and optional hp
• Voltage Drop: drop in volts and percent along a run, copper or aluminum, checked against a limit you set
• Wire Size: the smallest AWG, kcmil or mm² size that stays inside your limit, with the next size down for comparison
Voltage Drop and Wire Size use wire resistance only and do not check ampacity.
Fractions down to 1/16"
A measuring keyboard replaces the phone keyboard: one key each for 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16, feet and inches, large keys and large numbers, easy to reach with one hand. There is no Calculate button; results update as you type, and a tap on a result copies it.
Jobs and benders
Save any result with a label such as "Panel 3 A", pin the ones you reuse, bring one back with Use again, or share it as text. Choose your bender from built-in EMT presets (1/2" to 1-1/4", typical values, so check them against your bender) or add your own with its take-up and optional center-line radius.
Imperial or metric
Switch once and every calculator follows: inches and AWG, or millimeters and mm². Light, dark or system theme.
A note on use
Bend Bench gives reference calculations. Verify every result against the applicable code and the data from your equipment's manufacturer; local requirements come first. The app does not replace a licensed electrician and does not confirm that a result meets any code requirement.
Privacy
Everything runs on your iPhone. No account, no tracking, no network needed; saved jobs stay on the device.
Interface languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian. Trade terms such as Offset, Saddle and Kick stay in English.
