KURUBAN links a front board and a back board. Rotate a row or column and everything on it flips between them. Eight games in one app: Reversi, Gomoku, Ataxx, Chess, Shogi, Tic-Tac-Toe, Minishogi and Hex.
CLASSIC GAMES, NEW MOVES
Instead of moving a piece, rotate a row or column 180 degrees. Pieces hidden on the back board appear on the front, captured pieces come back, and five in a row can line up in a single move. Planning ahead has never felt so fresh.
EIGHT GAMES
- KURUBAN Reversi: the classic capture-and-flip rules, on a 6x6 or 8x8 board.
- KURUBAN Gomoku: get five in a row to win, or line them up with one rotation.
- KURUBAN Ataxx: clone, jump, and convert your neighbors to take over the board.
- KURUBAN Chess: an 8x8 board on each side, with castling, en passant and promotion. Capture both of your opponent's kings to win.
- KURUBAN Shogi: a 9x9 board on each side, with promotion and drops. Captured pieces can be dropped on either board. Capture both kings to win.
- KURUBAN Tic-Tac-Toe: a 3x3 board on each side. Get three in a row on one side to win. The first player's second mark has a placement limit.
- KURUBAN Minishogi: a 5x5 board on each side, set up as in 5x5 minishogi, with promotion and drops. Capture both kings to win.
- KURUBAN Hex: a 7x7 board of hexagons on each side. Link your two opposite edges with a chain of your stones on one side to win.

33 puzzles for Gomoku, Ataxx, Chess and Shogi, each ending with a clean win: wipe out your opponent, make five in a row, or capture the king. Today's puzzle is ready to play. Unlock more puzzles and hints with points you earn by playing.
COLLECT NEW LOOKS
Collect skins for boards, stones, pieces, landing sounds, and backgrounds. Earn points by playing and completing achievements, then use them in Kuru Kuru Spin. There are no duplicates, and the odds are shown before every spin. Points cannot be purchased or exchanged for cash. Items are cosmetic only and never affect who wins.

NEW GAMES
KURUBAN Tic-Tac-Toe on 3x3 boards, KURUBAN Minishogi on 5x5 boards, and KURUBAN Hex, where you link edges across a board of hexagons. Each has a front and a back board you can rotate, with CPU play, two players on one device, online play and a tutorial. They also bring 39 new achievements and 12 new skins.
ONLINE
Reversi, Gomoku, Ataxx, Chess and Shogi can be matched with players on version 1.1. The three new games need both players on the latest version. Any game draws from the games both players can play.
SKIP THE ACHIEVEMENT ANIMATION
After a match, tap the screen to fast-forward the achievement and points animation.
FIXES
- The result screen could show the previous match's ending reason

- In the collection, the standard landing sound for Chess and Shogi could show a white square
