A cozy mystery visual novel that teaches the whole JLPT N5, one voiced episode at a time.
You've just inherited your late aunt's old mountain inn. Three roads meet at its door: one from the town, one from a kingdom of knights and merchants, and one from a land where it is always night. A merchant comes up the east road every Friday to haggle. A knight who lost his horse works off his room. A sleepy witch upstairs may or may not have lit the lantern. And your aunt left a letter for every mystery the inn is about to throw at you.
It's written entirely in beginner Japanese, from the first N5 words to the last: over forty episodes you meet every N5 word apart from a few list-only ones, like the name of every country, and nearly all of the N5 grammar, each one used in the story where it's needed.
