See where your people are when they share with you, and ask for help with SOS when you need it. You decide what each person sees, and it stays in your iCloud. No ads.
Staying close to the people you love, even from afar, brings peace of mind. SaveSelf brings parents, kids, grandparents and couples together in a private circle: each person chooses what to share, and anyone can ask for help when they need it.
Your circle
• Invite someone with a one-time link, sent by message or QR code, or pick a contact.
• SaveSelf may suggest people you already know through your circle. No one joins without accepting. Your name may also be suggested to people in the circle of someone in your circle.
• See each person's status (Safe, Active, Unavailable or Emergency), plus battery level and when their iPhone was last seen.
• Everyone appears with the name you saved in your Contacts or, if they're not there, the name they chose. The photo is theirs, the one in your Contacts, or their initials.
Status only reflects whether there's an open SOS and whether the iPhone has checked in over the last few hours. It can't tell you how someone is doing.
On the map
• See the latest location of the people who share it with you: street or city, distance and how long ago it was updated.
• Pull up the panel to see everyone in your circle, and choose a map style.
• Tap someone to get directions or, if a phone number is available, call them.
SOS
• Press and hold for two seconds to send an emergency alert to the people you chose.
• With SaveSelf notifications turned on, they get a Time Sensitive notification, even when the app is closed, and can call you if you've added your phone number.
• People who can see your location can follow where you are during the SOS.
• See who has seen the alert, and mark it as resolved when it's over.
You decide what each person sees
• Location and alerts are separate choices, person by person.
• Sharing is one-way: seeing someone's location doesn't show them yours.
• Your name, photo, phone number (if you add one) and battery level are visible to your circle. When you connect with someone, SOS alerts start on and location starts off. Change or turn them off anytime.
Your privacy
• SaveSelf has no server of its own. What each person shares stays in their own iCloud; the records that connect two people stay in the iCloud of whoever created the invitation.
• Location, phone number and photo are encrypted on your iPhone before they go to iCloud.
• We can't see your data. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.
• Delete your account in the app. A private device and deletion marker remains in iCloud to prevent automatic recreation of data.
Your way
• Light, Dark or Automatic theme.
• Available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
• Before you build your circle, Demo Mode shows how it all works with a fictional family.
Requirements
• iPhone with iOS 18 or later and an iCloud account.
• Sign in with Apple. No new password needed.
• Everyone in your circle needs SaveSelf on their iPhone.
• Location updates depend on each iPhone's signal and permissions.
• Alerts depend on each iPhone's connection and notification settings.
Important: SaveSelf only notifies people in your circle. It doesn't contact or replace emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

• iCloud storage warnings explain the impact on SOS and location, including when sending is still unconfirmed.

• Confirmation before using another iPhone on the same account, and protection against automatic account recreation after deletion in updated versions.
• In demo mode, simulate an incoming SOS in Settings > Demo.
