Can you fill the crossword from the clues?
AtomicCross brings real crosswords to your phone, on a paper board where your letters are handwritten. Pick a word, read its clue and type it: you get 3 attempts per word. Every 5 crosswords you level up, and with each level the board and the number of words grow.
FROM YOUR FIRST CROSSWORD TO THE NEWSPAPER ONE
You start with 7 words on a 9×9 board. From level 13 come newspaper-style crosswords, with the classic grid and up to 22 crossing words on 11×11.
CLUES THAT GROW WITH YOU
Plain definitions at first. Then harder definitions, synonyms, set phrases and cryptic clues, like in the crosswords you know. Stuck? Reveal a letter with coins, ask for another clue with Antimatter or earn an extra attempt with a video. Out of attempts? See the word for a plasma heart.
DAILY CHALLENGE
A new crossword every day, the same for every player of your language, with no help allowed: 8 words on 9×9. Keep your streak going, share your result and, if you like, get a reminder when a new one is out.
RANKINGS
Pick a nickname and compete in the world, country and friends rankings: 3 points per word without help and 1 with help. Changing phones? Get your nickname back with your code.
THOUSANDS OF WORDS
Over 2,000 words in English, over 2,000 in Spanish and 2,000 in Portuguese across 19 categories: animals, food, sports, science, history, acronyms and more. New words and clues arrive without updating the app.
