An experienced elk hunter in your pocket.
Elk Academy, from Hunt the Odds, teaches you how to hunt elk at home, then helps you decide what to do next on the mountain. No quizzes, no classroom. Short, visual lessons built around real hunting decisions.
UNDERSTAND ELK → FIND ELK → GET CLOSE → MAKE THE SHOT → RECOVER THE ELK
HUNT MODE: "What should I do?"
Tap what you're seeing (time, sign, bugling, behavior, wind, pressure, weather) and get a plan: what to do next, why, what to watch for, and a wind check. Decision support from your observations, not guesses about where elk are.
126 LESSONS
Elk behavior, wind and thermals, finding elk, reading sign, glassing, rut and calling, hunting pressure, seasonal strategy, closing the distance for archery, rifle and muzzleloader, shot placement, blood trailing and pack out.
FIND THE ELK MAPS
Interactive topo examples show where elk feed, bed, water and travel, and where to glass from, with the reason behind each spot.
CALL LIBRARY
What each call means, when you'll hear it and how to respond, with real elk recordings from Yellowstone National Park.
FIELD TOOLS
Thermal guide, shot placement by angle, sign guide, terrain guide, blood trailing, pack-out planner and a pre-hunt checklist.
BUILT FOR THE MOUNTAIN
Works without cell service. Big buttons for gloves. A high-contrast Sunlight mode for bright days.
Always check current regulations with your state wildlife agency. Elk Academy is educational and doesn't guarantee hunting success.
