Connect for iPhone is the companion to Connect for Mac. It connects straight to a Mac you own, so you can follow and steer the coding agents, terminals and collaboration rooms running there while you are away from your desk. What you can do - See every project and session on your Mac: agent panels, shells and collaboration rooms. - Read live terminal output, laid out for a phone screen, with full scrollback. - Take over a session to type, paste, send images or answer a prompt, then hand control back to the Mac. - Start a new agent, shell or collaboration session in a project you have already trusted on the Mac. - Follow Claude and Codex working together in a collaboration room and step in with a message. Private by design - The iPhone connects only to your own Mac: over your local network, your private Tailscale network, or a relay server you run yourself. There is no Connect server or account, and your own relay only forwards encrypted data. - Pairing requires scanning a QR code on the Mac and confirming the same security code on both screens. - New devices start read-only. Write access is granted on the Mac, and you can revoke a device at any time. - Connect does not collect data. Projects and sessions stay on your Mac. What you need - Connect for Mac (free download from the Connect website), on an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 12 or later. - Your Mac and iPhone on the same local network, both signed in to Tailscale, or set up with your own relay. - The command-line tools you want to use, installed and signed in on the Mac by you. Connect works with Claude Code and Codex CLI that you install and license yourself; it does not include or sell any AI service, account or usage. Connect for iPhone is a one-time purchase with no subscription or in-app purchases.

- Pair and connect through a relay you host yourself; Tailscale or the same Wi-Fi network is no longer required. - The terminal now uses a native renderer: complete output, opens at the latest line, with no duplicated or missing lines and no font-size jumps. - Projects and sessions show the same status lights as on the Mac, and results you read on the phone are cleared on the Mac too. - Preview Word and Excel files; file lists and iPad tabs now use colored file-type icons. - Fixed an extra blank row under the iPad tab bar and several pairing and connection issues.
