Find duplicate files on your Mac and external drives. Review, move to Trash and undo. Free to scan, one-time unlock, no subscription. Your files stay on your Mac. Find duplicate files on your Mac and external drives — and see how much space you’ll really get back. Unduped always keeps one copy, moves the rest to the Trash, and never asks for a subscription. • Find exact duplicates of any kind of file: photos, videos, music, documents, archives, and disk images. • Keep one copy of every file, automatically. You can’t select the last one. • Free up real space. Copies that wouldn’t free anything aren’t counted. • Find photos and videos on your disks that are already in your Photos library. • Free up space from developer builds and caches that their tools make again. HONEST NUMBERS Many copies on a Mac share their data with the original. Copying a file in the Finder on the same disk often makes one of these, and moving it to the Trash frees almost nothing. Unduped spots these copies, labels them, and leaves them out of the total. Files stored in iCloud that aren’t downloaded to your Mac are listed separately and never counted. The number you see is the space you’ll actually get back. MATCHES CONTENTS, NOT NAMES • Compares the full contents of files, so “Report (1).pdf” is matched with “Report.pdf” — and two different files that share a name are not. • Scan your home folder, any folder, or internal and external disks. Add several at once to find copies across drives. ALREADY IN PHOTOS • Add your Photos library as a source to find photos and videos on your disks that it already has: in Downloads, on the Desktop, on an old drive. • The copy in Photos always stays. Unduped only reads your library, never changes it, and never downloads anything from iCloud. • Copies on external disks aren’t selected for you, because a disk like that is often a backup. • Duplicates inside the library are Photos’ own job, and Unduped shows you where Photos finds them. FOR DEVELOPERS • Finds builds, caches and old toolchains of Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, npm and tools for 15 languages. • Keeps what your projects use: the versions they build with, recent builds, and folders of running tools. • Shows how each folder comes back before it moves: rebuilt on the next build, or downloaded again. • Emulators, archives and AI models are never marked: you decide on each one. Docker and simulators are only shown, with how to free them. PICKS THE RIGHT COPY TO KEEP • Auto-selection keeps the copy that looks like the original: outside Downloads and the Desktop, without “copy” or “(1)” in its name, and the oldest. • Set your own rules: always keep files in a folder you choose, or always move copies out of another. • Change any choice by hand. Quick Look and Show in Finder help you check before anything moves. SAFE BY DESIGN • Every group keeps at least one copy. • Files go to the Trash, never straight to deletion. You can undo any of your last 5 cleanups while the files are still in the Trash. • Right before moving a file, Unduped checks it again. If it changed since the scan, it’s skipped. • Never looks inside apps, Time Machine backups, or system folders. Your Photos library is read through Photos, only if you add it, and is never changed. • No Full Disk Access needed. Unduped only sees the folders and disks you choose. PRIVATE Everything happens on your Mac. No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Nothing you scan leaves your Mac. FREE TO TRY, ONE-TIME UNLOCK Scanning is free, with no limit, and you see every result. You can move up to 500 MB of duplicates and 5 GB of developer files to the Trash for free. Unduped Unlock, a one-time in-app purchase, removes the limits. No subscription. Family Sharing is included. GOOD TO KNOW • Unduped finds exact duplicates: files with identical contents. With your Photos library, it also finds the same shot saved again, but not similar photos such as bursts or retakes. • Space comes back after you empty the Trash. If you use Time Machine, macOS may take a little longer to release it. • Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Keep one. Free the rest.

- The Developer section, new in 1.1, finds builds, caches and old toolchains that Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, npm and tools for 15 languages make again, and keeps what your projects still use. - Each folder says why it can go and how it comes back. Everything goes to the Trash, with Undo, and the first 5 GB are free, separate from the 500 MB for duplicates. - To do this, the Developer section asks once for your Home folder and reads folder names, sizes and dates there, plus a few settings files of developer tools. Nothing leaves your Mac; the privacy policy has the details. - After you empty the Trash, Unduped shows how much space it actually freed. - New: choose Unduped > Rate Unduped… to rate and review the app in the App Store. Plus polish and stability improvements.
