Sheep Don’t Lie
A Friedrichshain Mystery
Free
You wake up on a stranger’s sofa with two hours missing. Search a Berlin flat, read every scrap of paper and work out who drugged you — and why.
Berlin-Friedrichshain, Sunday afternoon. You are a private investigator, and you have just woken up on a stranger’s sofa.
Three days ago Zofia Nowak hired you to find out who in her own home stole her grandmother’s earrings — two drops of Baltic amber in thin gold, made in Danzig in 1938, the only thing her family carried west in 1945. There was no break-in. Only three people have a key.
You came to look at the flat. Someone made you a coffee. Then the room went soft, like wool.
Now the flat is quiet, the clock says 16:31, and nobody is home.
Sheep Don’t Lie is a point-and-click detective adventure set in one real Berlin flat. There are no monsters and no jump scares — just a crime, a family with secrets, and clues hidden in plain sight. If you enjoy mystery games, escape room puzzles and solving a case on paper, this one was made for you.
Search a real flat
Explore a lived-in Berlin flat in photo-realistic detail: the living room, the kitchen, the hall and a teenager’s bedroom. Open drawers, look under cushions, zoom in on what catches your eye. Every object can be examined, and many hide more than they show.
Read everything
A pharmacy receipt, notes, a pawn ticket, a betting slip, a diary, a torn-up note. Nineteen documents to read, piece together and check against each other. Dates, times and small details matter — the truth is in the small print.
Think like a detective
Combine items, crack a combination lock, get an old phone working and follow a treasure hunt left by someone who knows this flat better than you do. Each puzzle comes from the story itself, so every solution moves the investigation forward.
Make the call
When you think you know who did it, pick up the phone and lay out the whole case: what happened, how and why. How much you got right decides your score and one of four detective ranks.
A fair, forgiving mystery
Clear objectives tell you what to find out next. Your case file keeps the journal, the evidence and the people involved. And if you get stuck, 33 hints point you the right way — and show where to look — without solving the puzzle for you.
Narrated
Your journal and hints are read aloud by a warm narrator, in English, German and Russian. Adjust the voice and sound effects separately, or play in silence.
