Fonting for iPhone is the pocket companion to Fonting for Mac. Sign in with your Fonting account and the private cloud library you back up from your Mac opens on your phone: every family, every style, the collections you've built and the favorites you've starred. SET IT, DON'T JUST SCROLL IT Every face sits on its own card in a single column. Tap the card and type. Your line, your words, set in the actual font file, not a picture of it. Below the editor, the alphabet, numerals and punctuation show only the glyphs the font really contains, so you see what's there before you commit to it. TUNE THE TYPE Size from 16 to 200 points. Tracking from −100 to 300. Leading down to 50% for tight display settings and up to 220% for text. The same three controls, in the same order, everywhere in the app. COLOR THE WHOLE CARD Pick text and background together from sixty curated pairings, or set your own with a spectrum, sliders and hex entry. Recent pairs stay one tap away for comparison. SHARE A PROPER SPECIMEN Export a clean 1080 × 1350 image of the card: the setting, the family and foundry, and the leading and letterspacing used. Every image you save lands in Saved Images on your phone, ready to reshare or clear out in batches. Fonting shares pictures of type, never the font files themselves. SORT THROUGH THE PILE Sort walks you through your library one face at a time. Set the category, fix the foundry or designer, star it, file it in a collection, and move on. Your place is kept between sessions, and Serif and Sans Serif fill themselves as you go. FIND IT FAST Search by name, foundry or category. Scrub the A–Z index down the edge of the feed. Filter to favorites or open a single collection. YOUR MAC KEEPS UP Favorites, collections, categories and details you change on iPhone sync back to Fonting for Mac, and changes on the Mac show up here. Edits made offline are saved on the phone and sent when you reconnect. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your fonts live in your own private cloud library, not a shared catalog. Fonts download as you browse and are checked before they're used. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Not signed in? Open the sample library on the welcome screen: six open-source typefaces, clearly labeled, with every feature working. Fonting for iPhone requires a Fonting account with cloud library access, and fonts backed up from Fonting for Mac. The app doesn't sell, license or distribute fonts. You're responsible for using your fonts within the terms of their licenses.
