CrabPotLog is your pot and trap companion for iPhone and Apple Watch—for crabs along the coast, or redclaw, yabbies and shrimp in dams and freshwater. Save where you drop each pot, record your catches and build a useful history of your time on the water. TWO SOAKING POTS FREE Use CrabPotLog for free with up to two pots or traps soaking at a time. Free access does not expire, and no subscription is started automatically. Record checks and pickups, add notes and photos on iPhone, review your history, export records and find your pots without subscribing. Picking up a pot frees a slot for your next deployment. Need more than two pots soaking at once? An optional yearly subscription unlocks additional soaking pots. Eligible subscribers may receive a one-month free introductory trial, as shown before purchase. MARK YOUR POTS Save pot locations using your device’s GPS, with accuracy information shown. Keep track of soaking pots with clear map pins, simple numbered names or your own custom names. FIND YOUR WAY BACK See direction arrows, compass bearings and straight-line distances for soaking pots in your list, or open guidance for a selected pot. Choose nearest-first ordering or keep the original drop order. Guidance responds to available GPS and compass accuracy, with approximate direction shown when readings are less precise. LOG EVERY CATCH Record checks and pickups with Kept and Released totals. Separate released catches into Undersized, Female and Other, with options to show or hide Female and Other counters. Zero-catch visits count too. Recording settings sync between your paired iPhone and Watch. Add useful notes and optional catch photos on iPhone. REMEMBER SUCCESSFUL SPOTS Review catch history on the map and spot productive locations. On Watch, independently show successful and unsuccessful spots from the past month. Explore standard or satellite imagery on iPhone, or use the compact Watch map with zoom controls. KEEP YOUR LOG ON YOUR WRIST Drop pots, check catches, record pickups and find your pots from Apple Watch. Records transfer automatically between your paired iPhone and Watch when connectivity and system scheduling allow. REVIEW AND EXPORT Look back through drops, checks and pickups. Export your records as CSV on iPhone for spreadsheets or further analysis. CSV exports do not include photos and are not a restorable backup. LOCAL-FIRST Your pot log is stored on your devices. No CrabPotLog account is required. Sharing records and photos is your choice. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION The optional yearly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation, or after an applicable free trial. Trial eligibility, local pricing and subscription terms are shown before purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. IMPORTANT GPS and compass accuracy vary by device and conditions. Location access is required for GPS recording and live guidance. Map imagery may require an internet connection. CrabPotLog provides straight-line guidance, not marine charts or safe routing. It does not determine legal sizes, seasons or catch limits.
