KRONOS 24h
One turn is one day.
$3.99
One turn is one day, filled in with real sunrise and sunset — on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with the dial as a widget in four sizes.
KRONOS 24h is a 24-hour dial. One full rotation is one full day: midnight at the bottom, noon at the top. A glance tells you where you stand in the day, not just in the hour.
The dial is filled in with real daylight. KRONOS 24h computes sunrise and sunset for your location and paints daylight as the bright region, night as the dark one. The seam between them drifts through the year. Far north or far south, where the sun no longer sets or no longer rises, the dial simply turns to all day or all night.
FIVE COLOUR SCHEMES
Mies — white day, black night, one red marker. The original face.
Corbu — warm amber day, slate blue night, red cardinal badges.
Sigvaldi — yellow day, deep blue night, white marks throughout.
G.Pesce — red day, blue night, yellow badges. The rim and the seam leave strict geometry, the way poured resin never quite closes on a circle.
Árni Kím — amber day, indigo night. Every mark takes the opposite of the half it sits on.
Tap the dial to choose. Each row in the list is painted in its own scheme, so you pick by looking rather than by reading.
THE DIAL AS A WIDGET
24-Hour Dial brings the same face to the Home Screen on iPhone and iPad, and to Notification Centre on the Mac, in four sizes. It keeps the scheme and the location you chose in the app, and moves on once a minute.
ON THE MAC
The Mac app runs the same dial full screen, and its widget sits alongside your other desktop widgets.
YOUR LOCATION, ON YOUR DEVICE
Sunrise and sunset are worked out on your device from your location. Nothing is sent anywhere.
ONE PURCHASE, ALL SCREENS
KRONOS 24h is one app with Universal Purchase: buy it once and it is yours on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. No subscription, no second charge on the Mac or the TV, and nothing to unlock in the app.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The date and the city on the dial are now two lines instead of one, with the place set smaller beneath the day, so the dial reads better at a distance.
One purchase still covers every screen — iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
