Keep your Mac on the input method you choose. Automatic input switching can interrupt your typing. InputPin lets you choose and pin a specific input method, so you can keep typing with your selection. Choose an input method from the menu bar and turn pinning on. If macOS switches to another input source, InputPin restores the one you pinned. Pause pinning whenever you want to switch freely. How to use InputPin • Click the pin in the menu bar, then click the input method name to see your choices directly. • Choose an enabled input source and turn on “Keep this input source”. • Turn pinning off before switching to another input source. While pinning is on, manual input-source changes are also restored. • InputPin pins a macOS input source. It does not control the Chinese/English mode inside an input method. Works with built-in input sources and installed input methods. InputPin does not install an input method. Secure input takes priority; pinning waits during secure input, sleep and inactive sessions. Launch at login is optional. No accounts, analytics, keystroke collection, subscription, or Accessibility permission. MIT-licensed source is available on GitHub; the App Store edition is a paid convenience distribution.
