Run the door for your Tiklo event: scan tickets, check guests in offline, and sell walk-in tickets for cash. Tiklo Host is the door app for organizers who sell tickets on Tiklo (tiklo.ca), the ticketing platform for community and cultural events in Canada. SCAN TICKETS • Point the camera at a ticket QR code: a full-screen green or red answer you can read at arm’s length in a dark venue • Groups bought together show who is in and who is still to come • Copied or reused tickets are caught, even with several phones at the door • Flashlight for dark rooms, and a sound and a buzz for every scan KEEPS WORKING OFFLINE • The guest list is saved on the phone, so scanning keeps going when the venue Wi-Fi drops • Check-ins made without signal sync by themselves when it’s back SEARCH GUESTS • No QR code? Find the guest by name or ticket ID and check them in by hand SELL AT THE DOOR • Sell walk-in tickets for cash in one tap • Optional name and email, so buyers get their ticket by email • Change helper shows what to give back DOOR STAFF WITHOUT ACCOUNTS • Show volunteers a code: their phone becomes a scanner for that one event, with no access to sales or payouts • Stop the code at the end of the night and every volunteer phone stops working LIVE NUMBERS • Checked in, still to arrive, tickets left and cash taken, updated as the night goes You need a Tiklo organizer account to sign in. Create one free at tiklo.ca. Events are created and edited on tiklo.ca.
