Keep a clear record of where you drove, why you went and which miles were for work. Tallymile brings recording, classification and reporting together on your iPhone, so you can prepare a mileage log without rebuilding the month from memory.
RECORD THE JOURNEY
Use automatic drive detection with the required location and motion permissions, start and stop a drive yourself, or add a past trip manually. Keep dates, start and end places, distance and purpose together. Review and correct your records on your phone; automatic detection is not a guarantee that every trip will be recorded.
TURN DRIVES INTO AN ORGANIZED LOG
Separate business and personal trips, assign a vehicle and review drives waiting to be classified. Reusable rules help with familiar journeys. For delivery and other gig work, group drives into a shift without connecting a gig-platform account.
TAKE THE RIGHT DETAILS INTO A REPORT
Choose a period, categories and vehicle, review the report summary, then export PDF or CSV. Keep the individual trips, purposes and mileage behind the totals. Record tolls and parking alongside your drives rather than trying to recall them later. Some reporting and organizational features require Pro; check the options shown in the app.
KNOW WHAT A MILEAGE VALUE MEANS
Built-in rate calculations cover the dates in the bundled US IRS table and use miles and US dollars. For deductible categories outside that coverage, the rate and monetary total are shown as unavailable while your trips and mileage remain in the report. An explicit custom business rate can be used independently of IRS date coverage. Translation does not add tax rules for another country or convert miles or currency. This is a record-keeping tool, not tax advice.
USE YOUR LOG YOUR WAY
No Tallymile account is required. The interface is available in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Japanese. Widgets, Shortcuts and the Apple Watch companion offer additional ways to reach your mileage information.
