Hum any tune and hear it as a full song: drums, bass, chords and your own voice, in tune and on the beat.
Got a tune stuck in your head? Hum it. HUMM turns it into a song on your iPhone. No metronome, music theory or instrument needed.
HOW IT WORKS
• Hum, sing or whistle, then hear your tune with a full band.
• Try different styles and versions, choose your favourite and make it yours in the Studio.
• Edit separate melody, drums, bass, chords and voice layers in the timeline. Tap a track to select it; hold it to open its settings.
• Share audio or a before-and-after video, or export MIDI and WAV stems for your other music apps.
RECORD AND CREATE
• Beatbox the drums, hum a bassline or add another melody.
• Record a video directly in HUMM, switch cameras and use its audio in your song.
• Import an existing voice memo or video.
• Shape your voice with tuning, cleanup and effects.
• Pick from 37 instruments, 16 drum kits and 20 musical styles.
• Adjust levels, mute, solo, swing and timing.
• Use Fix to tighten a part, with Undo when you need it.
• Grow songs to five minutes in Tracks, with Studio recordings and imports up to three minutes.
ALL FEATURES FREE IN VERSION 1.1
Every feature and export is free in this release, including premium sounds, extra versions, edited songs, voice tools, MIDI and Producer Pack. Version 1.1 does not start purchases or trials. Paid options are planned for a future update; prices and timing have not been announced.
If you already have an Apple subscription, installing this update does not cancel it. Manage existing subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
YOUR IDEAS STAY YOURS
HUMM records, extracts audio and arranges music on your phone. Camera and microphone access are optional. There is no HUMM account, and your recordings are never uploaded by HUMM. Songs save on your phone. Deleted songs can be recovered for 30 days. You choose whether to export or share your work.
