Nuri is a feed of short scenes from real Korean shows. Every line is written out in hangul under the video, with how it sounds and what it means. Tap any word and you'll see what it means right there, in that line. The words you keep become flashcards made from the scene you heard them in.
Watch
Scroll short scenes the way you already scroll videos. Each word lights up as it's spoken, with its pronunciation underneath and the English for the line below, so your ear and your eyes stay together.
Tap any word
Tap a word to pause the scene and see what it means in that line. Then find out why it's said that way, from the grammar to the feeling behind it.
Remember
Save a word and it becomes a flashcard. The front plays the line you heard it in, and the back shows its meaning and how it was used. Again or Got it, and Nuri brings it back at the right time.
Understand
Korean changes with who you're talking to. Every line is marked casual, polite or formal, so you learn when to say 반말 and when to say 존댓말. Words like 오빠, 언니 and 선배 are explained, not just translated.
Grow
Watch your Korean vocabulary build up, one saved word at a time. Save 들었어 once and Nuri knows 듣다 everywhere it turns up.

Search any word in hangul, English or romanisation, and hear it used in real scenes.
A word a day
Add the Nuri widget to your home screen for a new Korean word every morning, with how it sounds and what it means. Tap it to hear it in the scene it comes from.
No guilt
No streak to lose and no reminders that nag. If you're away for a week, there's simply a new scene waiting when you come back.
Your subscription
Nuri needs a subscription. Choose yearly, which starts with 7 days free, or monthly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.
