Turn any song into word-by-word karaoke captions, and export a transparent master ready to composite. New here? File > Open Sample Project loads a demo in one click. Turn a song into a karaoke caption video. mkok follows your lead-melody MIDI and lyric file to sweep the words in time with the music, word by word, like a karaoke machine, over a background video of your own. The caption layer can be exported with a transparent background, ready to drop on top of any footage. Three steps: 1. Import: drag your files anywhere onto the window (audio, or a video that carries its own audio, plus the lead-melody MIDI and the lyric file). 2. Preview and adjust: press the Space bar to play. Open Settings to tune how early each line appears, and the caption style: font, size, spacing, colors, outline, glow, per-character motion. Size, spacing and position are kept separately for landscape and portrait. 3. Export: ProRes 4444 (.mov, with transparency) for compositing, or H.264 (.mp4) to share. Default file names get an H/V suffix for orientation. What you need: - Audio: mp3 / m4a / aac / wav / aiff (or a video that carries its own audio) - Lead-melody MIDI: the single melody track exported from your arrangement (mid / midi) - Lyrics (txt): one Chinese character or one word counts as one unit, matched one-to-one with the MIDI note onsets - Background video (optional): one for landscape and one for portrait (mp4 / mov / m4v), routed automatically by picture orientation What you get: - A landscape 1920x1080 or portrait 1080x1920 canvas - A transparent ProRes 4444 master for post-production, or a burn-in H.264 for sharing - Your audio: passed through untouched in .mov (an mp3 stays an mp3), re-encoded to AAC in .mp4 - Everything on screen is adjustable: outline, gradient fill, glow (with flicker / breathing), shadow, per-character modes, countdown, particles, and more Try it first, the built-in sample: Not sure where to start? Choose File > Open Sample Project: a tiny demo (video, melody and lyrics) loads in one click, so you can walk the whole import, play, and export flow right away. Projects open with a double-click: What you save is a `.mkokproj` file — double-click it in the Finder to open it, or drag it onto the window or the Dock icon. Several projects can be open at once (one per window), and the windows you had open come back the next time you launch. Your files never leave your Mac: mkok works entirely on your Mac: no network access, no uploads, no data collection. All processing happens locally. Requires macOS 15.0 or later. Interface available in English and Chinese.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

· Projects (.mkokproj) now open three more ways: double-click in the Finder, drag onto the window, or drag onto the Dock icon. · Opening a project that is already open brings its window forward instead of opening a second one; an untouched blank window takes it in place. · Several projects can be open at once (one per window), and the windows you had open come back on your next launch. · Songs whose first lyric lands unusually early now get a title card at the head, so the song info is no longer dropped. · Fixed: clicking Cancel during export no longer shows an error alert.
