HaruGrim: AI Picture Diary
One line. AI draws your day.
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Write one line about your day and AI turns it into a picture for your diary. No drawing skills or long entries needed. Free to start: first 3 pictures come right away.
One line is all it takes to finish a picture diary.
HaruGrim is an AI picture diary: jot down a few words about your day, and AI turns that day into a single illustration. You don't need to draw or write much. After a month, your calendar is full of your own days.
■ You write one line, AI draws it
Write whatever comes to mind, like "Rainy. Pancakes by the window. Best mood." AI picks one scene from your entry and draws it.
• Before drawing, it shows you "Here's what I'll draw" first.
• Or just save the text without a picture.
■ Your words, gently polished
• The AI doesn't write for you; it gently polishes your text in your own voice. Your original words are always kept.
• Choose how much polish you want: light, medium or rich.
• Or save your words exactly as they are.
■ Art styles to match your mood
Colored-pencil diary or watercolor. Pick the one that fits today. Plus unlocks all 8, including anime film, pixel art, 3D animation, film photo, crayon and pen drawing.
■ A calendar and album that fill up with pictures
• Picture calendar: each day fills in with a thumbnail, and text-only days and pictures still being drawn stand out at a glance.
• Album: read back through everything you've written in calendar or list view. Share a whole month as one collage.
• Swipe left and right in an entry to read the previous or next day.
• Even while looking at another day, jump straight to today's entry with "Write today".
• Share your favorite days along with their pictures.
■ A secret diary only you can open
• Lock any entry as a secret entry; it opens only after Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode.
• Turn on App lock to check every time the app opens.
• Past entries stay as they were. You can hide or delete them, and hidden entries wait under "Hidden entries" in the Album.
■ Themes for every mood
Choose from 6 colors: Cream, Mint, Lavender, Ocean, Peach and Mono. Plus adds 5 special themes with seasonal backgrounds and drifting petals, fireflies, leaves, snow or rain: Cherry blossom, Summer fireflies, Autumn leaves, Snowy winter and Rainy day.
■ Star in your own pictures, if you like
Create a character from a single selfie, or by picking a hairstyle, outfit and glasses, and it appears in your pictures. It's optional: without one, pictures focus on places, objects and mood. Your photo is discarded right after the character is made.
■ Your records, kept safe
• Start right away without signing in. Entries are saved on your device first.
• Sign in with Apple or Google to back up your diary and pick up where you left off on a new device.
• You can delete your account and all your records in the app at any time.
■ Also
• On the free plan there is a single small banner ad at the top of the screen. Plus has no ads.
• Available in Korean, English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Text polishing works in the language you choose.
• Dark mode.
[Good to know]
• Pictures and text polishing are made with AI (Google Gemini). Your entry text and character photo are sent to our server to create them.
• Before signing in you can make 3 trial pictures. After signing in, you can keep making 1 picture a day. Your first 3 pictures are drawn right away; after that, free pictures arrive the next morning.
• If a picture request fails, the use is returned to you.
[Plus subscription]
• HaruGrim Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. You can buy it without signing in.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
