Put God first before you scroll.
WordGuard is a Christian screen time app and app blocker. You choose the apps that pull you in, and you choose when they pause. That time is for the Bible, prayer, gratitude, stillness, or reflection. The apps stay closed until the pause ends.
How it works
Pick the apps Choose the apps WordGuard may pause. Social, video, games, or anything else that takes your attention. WordGuard uses Apple’s Screen Time. It does not read what you do inside those apps.
Choose the times Daily pauses, your own hours, all day, or a session you start yourself. The schedule is yours.
Spend the pause with God Scripture, prayer, gratitude, stillness, or reflection. When the time is up, the apps open again. Ending a pause early does not count it as kept.
What you can do
• Faith-focused app blocker. The pause holds for the full time you set. • Bible on your iPhone. King James is available offline. The Berean Standard Bible is available when you are online. • Read a chapter aloud in a male or female voice. WordGuard remembers where you stopped, and you can bookmark a verse. • Verse of the day, with a widget for your streak and your next pause. • Morning First: Scripture, then prayer, when you start the day. • All-Day Guard: the activity opens the apps for 15 minutes, then they are guarded again. • Journey: a 7-day look at pauses you kept. Longer ranges are part of WordGuard+. • No account required. Prayers and notes stay on this iPhone.
WordGuard is for you if you want to • Spend the pause in Scripture and prayer • Keep distracting apps closed until the time is up • Build a day around God before the scroll • Start with the free app and add WordGuard+ only if you want more
WordGuard+ is optional. The free app includes daily pauses, Scripture, prayer, and a 7-day journey. WordGuard+ adds longer pauses, saved notes, and a longer journey.
WordGuard+ Monthly is $4.99 per month. WordGuard+ Yearly is $29.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
