Conduit Bend Pro tells you exactly where to put the marks on the pipe. Pick the bend, type your measurements, and the marks update as you type. There is no Calculate button. Every mark shows the distance from the pipe end, which bender mark to line up (arrow, rim notch or star), which way the hook faces and which way to bend.
Every bend has a large drawing of the conduit with the dimensions and numbered marks, so you can see what you are about to bend before you touch the bender.
Bends
Offset at 10, 22.5, 30, 45 or 60 degrees. You get the distance between marks, the shrink, and where the second mark goes.
90 degree stub-up. Enter the stub height and get the mark for the bender arrow.
Back-to-back 90. Mark for the first bend, then the second mark measured from the back of the first 90.
3-point saddle and 4-point saddle. Enter the obstruction height (and width for a 4-point) and get every mark and the shrink.
Kick. Know the rise or the run and get the pipe length from the bend to the box.
Rolling offset. Enter the rise and the roll. The app works out the true offset and the angle to rotate the pipe, then gives you the marks.
Segmented 90 for large radius bends. Pick the radius and the number of bends and get every mark.
Benders
Starts with the usual take-up and radius for 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1-1/4 inch EMT hand benders, with Canadian metric sizes shown alongside. Choose rigid or IMC and the app moves to the next EMT shoe size for you. Edit any of them to match your own bender, or save your own bender profile. Every result screen shows which bender settings it used. The app warns you in plain words when an offset is too small for your bender, when marks are too close to fit the bender head, and when a mark falls off the end of a 10 foot stick.
Made for the job
Big keys that work with gloves on, with a fraction keypad so you type whole inches and tap a fraction. No sliders. Steel and safety orange colors that stay readable in sunlight, with a dark mode for the van at night. Enter feet, inches and fractions down to 1/16 inch, or switch to millimetres. Share a mark sheet as text or as an image.
The math is worked out from geometry, not copied from a chart, so any angle from 5 to 60 degrees and any measurement gives the right answer. Where the exact number differs from the multiplier card you carry, the app shows the card value next to it and says why. Always make a test bend on your own bender before cutting expensive pipe.
