Discover the rhythm of everyday life. A morning room. An afternoon café. A street on the way home. Every place has a sound of its own. Sound breathes, rising and settling as life unfolds. JiaDecibel turns those changes into decibel readings, colors and expressive faces, helping you notice the environment around you. Compare a room before and after an appliance starts. Observe quieter times in a workspace or study area. On a journey, remember the sounds as well as the sights. Each measurement becomes a small record of life in that moment. Understand sound at a glance See the current level, minimum, average, maximum and measured duration. A changing face makes the ups and downs easy to follow. Set your own boundaries for Quiet, Normal, Getting Loud and Loud. During foreground phone measurement, choose alerts by level or state, with sound 01, sound 02 or text only. Keep your sound footprints Measurements save automatically. Revisit records with valid locations on a personal map: points show individual measurements, while a heatmap helps compare places you have measured. Filter by Today, Last 7 Days or All. Measurements still save without location permission. Offline records stay on your device and upload to your account when connectivity returns. The sounds of Earth, one city at a time World groups your own past measurements by city or region, showing average, minimum and maximum levels. It adds another way to remember a journey: not just how a place looked, but how it sounded. World uses city or regional summaries rather than your precise measurement points. Unmeasured places are left without estimated values. This is your personal sound history, not a live worldwide noise map. Stay connected to a place from afar Scan a QR code to bind a compatible JiaDecibel device. Check its latest reported sound level, sound history and available location and route records, even when you are elsewhere. Owners can rename a device, remotely lock or unlock it, and share access with up to three people. See who has access and revoke sharing whenever needed. These features require separate compatible hardware, device connectivity and the appropriate permissions. Updates and controls depend on the connection. JiaDecibel hardware is planned for global release and is not yet commercially available. Keep readings, respect privacy Phone measurement runs only while the app is in the foreground. It saves sound-level values, not ambient audio recordings, and does not track your phone after the app closes. Delete measurements, manage device sharing or delete your account in the app. Phone microphone readings are uncalibrated estimates for everyday observation and comparison. They do not replace a professional sound level meter or medical, safety or regulatory assessments. Phone measurement and personal sound footprints do not require a JiaDecibel device. Give sound an expression.
