Desk Wars 2: Money Games is the banking sequel to Desk Wars. You join Harrow Vane & Co., a 52-floor bank on Wick Street, as a first-year analyst. Every piece of work on your desk is real finance, scored against a market that keeps moving while you work, and a retired Vice Chair is on hand to teach you every concept in it.
EVERY DESK IN THE BANK
Rotate through Advisory, Capital Markets and Lending, Markets, Asset Management, Private Wealth, and a secondment to the client's own finance team. Build football fields and merger models, run an IPO book, price bonds, write credit memos, hedge a trading book, rebalance portfolios, harvest tax lots and hold a company above its covenant with the thirteen-week cash.

Peg Ashdown, a retired Vice Chair of Harrow Vane, has a lesson for every one of the game's 206 finance concepts: a two-minute version first, then the formula, a worked example and the traps, as deep as you want to go, with two quick questions to check yourself. Open learner's mode from the title screen with no career at all, ask Peg about the work on your desk, or let her debrief you after you file. How much she helps depends on the house culture you sign into: Bankers' Hours, The Street or Up or Out.
