Working on your Mac from somewhere else? Anyone walking past it can read your screen. Curtain covers every connected display with an opaque overlay, so the people around the machine see nothing, while your remote session carries on untouched. The overlay is also excluded from the system's screen-capture pipeline. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, QuickTime and Screen Sharing capture the desktop underneath instead of a black rectangle, so your meeting looks completely normal to everyone else. Only they ever see it: the overlay stays out of recordings • Keeps the Mac awake while covered, so display sleep and the idle lock cannot interrupt a session you are running from somewhere else • Lives in the menu bar, with no Dock icon PLEASE NOTE This version does not block the physical keyboard and mouse: macOS sandboxing rules do not permit it. The screen goes black, but someone sitting at the Mac can still type behind it. Curtain hides your screen from the people around you; it is not a replacement for locking your Mac.
