kQSO
Hamradio log with smart input
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
kQSO is a ham radio logger with a single, smart input line. Type a whole QSO on one line — callsign, band and mode, report, serial, locator, award reference — and kQSO recognizes each part by its shape. A preview under the line shows what will be saved. Logs are plain ADIF files on your device; everything works offline.
Log profiles
• Activation — SOTA, GMA, POTA, WWFF, TOTA lookout towers, BOTA bunkers; your reference is set with the log, the other station's reference is logged for S2S. Several references in one activation (summit + park + WWFF area), exported as one ADIF per program.
• General — adds the name.
• VHF contest — serials, 6-character locator, IARU R1 scoring (points per km), score per band, EDI (REG1TEST) export per band with categories, statistics per hour and per large square, and the ON4KST chat for skeds (stations with distance, bearing and QRV bands).
• Satellite — one log per pass; the satellite sets uplink / downlink band and frequency.
Logging
• Bands 160 m to 76 GHz, microwaves typed in GHz (24G, 10G …).
• Your locator from the device position, and the nearest SOTA, POTA, WWFF, GMA, TOTA and BOTA references offline.
• Callsign suggestions and locator prefill from a bundled database and your own worked stations; in a VHF contest the bands the station is QRV on.
• Dupe warning (call + band + mode; contest per band; satellite per bird).
• Contest panel in landscape: the next serial in big digits, UTC, rate and points.
• QSO map of worked locators over the Maidenhead grid, offline.
• Rain radar on the VHF contest map (optional, off by default).
• ADIF export, push to your own Wavelog (API v2).
• Crash-safe: every QSO is written at once, an unfinished one is offered back after a restart.
Radios and keyers (beta)
• Icom IC-705 over Bluetooth: band, mode and exact frequency from the radio, a typed band or F28300 tunes it, CW macros through the radio's keyer, voice memories T1–T4 in SSB / FM, transverters per band.
• Other Icom radios (IC-7300, 9700, 7610, 7100, 706, 910) through the keyer's CI-V port.
• CW keyer M5-ESP32-keyer over Bluetooth: macros per profile, RUN / S&P, N1MM-style ESM, CW keyboard.
Own alphabetical keyboard, the system keyboard or a hardware keyboard with shortcuts (F-key macros, Alt+…), standard and e-ink display modes, light and dark theme, English and Czech, a built-in manual.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• CW decoder in the app: it listens through the microphone next to the radio's speaker (or a USB audio input) and decodes on the device. Settings > CW decoder.
• ON4KST chat: stations up to a distance you set, a message to a station right in its details, and the station's chat locator offered in the log.
• Scatter and aurora reports: 59S, 59A.
• The log header on a narrow phone wraps instead of being cut off.
