SLIS | Seven Lakes School
Timetable, homework, reports
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Term time, in one place: every lesson, every piece of homework, every mark, every invoice — for the whole family, in English or Arabic.
SLIS is the Seven Lakes International School app for the school's families, pupils and staff. It replaces the paper trail — the week's timetable, the homework diary, the fee slip, the note sent home — with one place that is always current.
Accounts are issued by the school. If your child is enrolled at SLIS, the office will give you your sign-in; there is no public sign-up.
FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
• Each child's day — today's lessons, where they are, and who teaches them
• Homework and tests: what has been set, what is overdue, what has been marked
• Marks and teacher feedback, as they are entered
• Attendance, kept in view
• Fees, invoice by invoice — paid, unpaid or overdue
• Message your child's homeroom and subject teachers
• Every child you have at the school in one app, a tap apart
FOR PUPILS, YEAR 6 AND ABOVE
• Your timetable, and what your next lesson is
• Homework and tests, with what is due when
• Your courses in mathematics, English and computing — written for your year group and the qualification it is sitting
• Teaching pages and questions you work through at your own pace, earning SLIS points for answers you get right first time
• Flashcards and practice quizzes, by subject and by lesson
• The chess classroom: puzzles, practice, and a game against the computer
FOR STAFF
• Your teaching week at a glance
• Take the register
• Set homework, and build and schedule quizzes
• Record marks and feedback
• Pair with a classroom board
ASK, IN YOUR OWN WORDS
Everyone gets an assistant scoped to them: a pupil's reaches their own record, a parent's reaches their own children, a teacher's reaches their own teaching. For everyone except administrators it is strictly read-only — it can explain and summarise, but it cannot change the school's record.
ENGLISH AND ARABIC
The app runs end to end in either language, right-to-left included. Choose at first launch, change whenever you like.
PRIVACY
No adverts. No analytics. No tracking. Nothing sold to anybody. The full policy is at privacy.slis.com.ly.
Seven Lakes International School is a British international school in Al-Hawari, Benghazi, teaching the full Pearson Edexcel pathway from iPrimary to International A-Levels.
Parents see what their child sees: full homework, a grid of subjects, and today's attendance on Home. Fees are split into To pay and Paid.
Registers are taken lesson by lesson, stay open ten minutes after the bell, and record how late a pupil was.
Class chats are read-only for parents and pupils. Send several files at once and watch them upload.
Workspace files stay on the device after the first open and can be downloaded. Lesson slides play their sounds and animations.
