A globe of the night side of the Earth. The countries you have visited are the ones with the lights on. Nothing leaves your phone, and the video tour is made on it.
A globe of the night side of the Earth. The countries you have visited are the ones with the lights on.
Mark a country and it lights up in your colour. Leave the phone alone and the globe turns by itself. When you want to show someone, the app makes a video on your phone: the globe flies from country to country, each one lighting up, and ends on your whole lit-up world.
Nothing leaves your phone unless you send it. There is no account. There are no ads and no analytics. The app has no network access at all, so it works offline, always.
It keeps track of where you have been and where you want to go, and that is all it does.
The globe
- The real Earth, seen from its night side, with every country and territory on it.
- Zoom in far enough to pick out small islands.
- Visited countries light up in your accent colour: cyan, magenta, lime, amber or white.
- Ambient mode: when you stop touching it, the globe turns by itself.
Marking
- Two statuses: Visited and Want to go.
- Tap a country on the globe, long-press it to mark it visited, or search a list of every country and territory.
- Flags in the list, on each country's sheet and in the video tour.
- Add the year of your first visit and a note.
Counting
- Your number is counted out of the 193 member states of the United Nations.
- Territories light up when you mark them too, and are shown beside the number, not in it.
- See your percent of the world, your continents, your share of the world's land area, and your countries by year.
Sharing
- A video tour rendered on your phone: MP4, 9:16 or 1:1, up to 90 seconds, no watermark.
- A still card of your globe, in three sizes.
- Both go to the share sheet, and from there only where you send them.
Your data
- Kept on your phone. There is no server for it to go to.
- Part of your phone's own backup, if you have one turned on.
- Export it as a JSON file you own, and import it on another phone.
- Automatic snapshots that you can restore.
Good to know
- Dark only. This is the night side.
- For phones, held upright.
- English only.
- No subscription.
