Fold-aware framing, retro video and an outer-display teleprompter on compatible devices. Record stories and interviews. All features included. No subscriptions. Fold-aware framing. Retro video. Pocket DV combines a vintage camcorder with script-based recording and, on compatible devices, an interactive outer-display teleprompter. Make interviews and personal stories feel more natural. FOLD-AWARE FRAMING AND OUTER-DISPLAY COLLABORATION Frame your shot and control recording on the inner screen. The person in front of the camera can read the script on the outer screen, signal that they are ready, and pause or resume the prompter while recording continues. After saving, they can select the latest take or request another. Shared status keeps both sides in step. The layout adapts to the fold. Outer-screen collaboration is available in Talks / Interviews on supported hardware with iOS 27.1 or later, when iOS makes the outer display available during an active camera session. Start and stop recording from the main camera screen. STAY WITH YOUR STORY Write or paste a script and organize it into paragraphs. Adjust scrolling speed and text size, set a 3- or 5-second countdown, and monitor microphone levels. Prompter text stays out of your finished video. FOUR LOOKS FOR EVERYDAY MEMORIES Switch to the camcorder for CLEAN, soft MiniDV-inspired DV-01, vivid CCD-06 or tape-inspired VHS-88. These software styles are recorded into your video. Add a date, time or timecode overlay for the home-movie feel. RECORD, KEEP AND SHARE Record at 720p or 1080p, 30 fps, in 9:16, 4:3 or 16:9. Replay local recordings, save a copy to Photos or share through iOS. No Pocket DV brand watermark. One purchase includes all features. No subscriptions or in-app purchases. Standard iPhone models also have the camcorder and script-based recording tools; outer-screen collaboration requires compatible hardware. The app interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese. No account or ads. Scripts and recordings stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
