Too many photos to find the one you remember?
PicSeek helps you search your iPhone photo library in everyday language, combining visual content, dates, places and text in images.
SEARCH THE WAY YOU REMEMBER
Describe a scene, person or object, or add clues about time, place or text. Sort results by relevance or date.
PHOTO ANALYSIS ON YOUR DEVICE
Image understanding and text recognition run on your iPhone, where your search index is stored. Place-name lookup is off by default. If you enable it after the disclosure in Settings, photo coordinates are sent to Apple to look up place names. Your original photos are not uploaded to our servers.
CONTROL WHAT YOU INDEX
Choose albums to scan, exclude selected items, and follow indexing progress. Pause or resume indexing, clear and rebuild your index, or clear the index and recent searches and stop scanning without deleting original photos.
CHOOSE A PLAN FOR YOUR LIBRARY
The free plan indexes up to 1,000 photos. Personal, Plus and Max annual subscriptions support up to 20,000, 50,000 and 100,000 photos respectively. Prices are displayed in the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be canceled in your Apple account settings.
Requires iOS 18 or later and access to your photo library. Search quality varies with photo content, available metadata and indexing progress.

Ratings & Reviews

This update improves search accuracy and scanning performance. Recommended for all users.
• Better search: Improved English-language understanding for Chinese queries makes breeds, brands and places easier to find. Results are now grouped into best matches and possible matches.
• Faster scanning: Choose Fast or Accurate mode. Fast mode uses photo previews already on your device without downloading iCloud originals first.
• Background scanning: On iOS 26, scans can continue after you leave the app, subject to system resource availability.
• Bug fixes and automatic cleanup of caches left by earlier versions to reduce storage use.
