STELLA: PIECE BY PIECE is a pixel platformer about the feelings that get too big: worry, fear of the dark, pressure, loneliness, peer pressure, comparing yourself to everyone else, screens that never stop, being lured, the noise of the future, and never feeling enough. Each of the ten dream worlds is one of those feelings. Each boss is that feeling grown huge. Beat it, and you see what it really was all along: something small, shy and kind, who becomes your friend and lends Stella its power.
* Ten dream worlds, each with its own look, music and tricks: a moonlit wood, a haunted hollow, a crystal citadel, frozen caves, a mountain of stars, a mirror mall, a world of screens, a neon street, the doomers' town, and the Fat Man's palace.
* Bosses that change shape, and then turn into friends: a tenrec, a snail, a mouse lemur, a snow monkey, a parrot, a frog, an owlet, a rabbit, an aye-aye and a very small, very kind dad.
* Ten friends with ten powers: Thorn Roll, Sticky Feet, Big Eyes, Warm Heart, Echo Call, Frog Tongue, Hush Glide, Fetch, Doom Catcher and Dad Toss.
* Secrets in every level: spades and buried memories, hidden rooms, dream dungeons, treasure chests, and a Treasure Book that fills up.
* Mini-games after every world: breathing, flashlights, a crystal tower you can keep building as high as you dare, a word puzzle about kind sentences, a night sky you guide home, and many more.
* Quiet Place: breathing and calm exercises, always free, whenever you need a moment. Calm moments can be skipped, always.
* Hello Darkness: a short level in the dark, with only a match for light, about finding the good memories that make life worth living.
* Made with care for teenagers and anyone who has felt not good enough. Pixel art, a full soundtrack, touch controls made for a phone, game controller support, no ads and no tracking.
