A private tour of every artwork, from an audio guide that reads the wall label, talks in your ear, and answers your questions. No number to type. And when you're not at a museum, the Gallery is always open.
Any piece, not just the highlights
Scan the label beside any piece, even the ones no museum tour covers. You hear a minute-long Overview first, then its Story, the Artist, History, and Style, when the sources have enough to say.
Listen while you look
The guide talks in your ear, so your eyes stay on the art. It keeps playing with your phone locked.
• Follow along with captions, sentence by sentence
• Read any track instead of listening
• Set the speed from 0.5× to 2×
Ask the guide anything
Why is she looking straight at us? Say it or type it. The guide answers out loud, and knows the piece, the museum you're in, and what you've already heard.
It reads the label, so it's the right piece
The guide reads the label you aim at instead of guessing from the picture. It draws on museum records and Wikipedia, and where they disagree, the label wins.
The Gallery, from home
15+ rooms and 200+ of the world's great paintings, by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Vermeer, Hokusai, Van Gogh, and more, each with five tracks. Every Overview is free, and so is each room's tour, painting by painting. As the guide talks, a soft spotlight moves to each detail it describes. Some paintings show more, like an altarpiece with its wings closed or a painting in infrared. Hang any of them on your wall in AR, at true size. Forget a title? Describe it: "a Sunday in the park, painted in dots."
Pay by the visit, or the year
Free: saving every visit, and in the Gallery, every painting, its Overview, and each room's tour.
A pass adds every piece you scan or search, all its tracks, Ask, and listening again. In the Gallery, it adds every track after the Overview, and Ask.

How a visit works
• Pick the museum you're in and tap Start your visit.
• Aim at a label and tap it, or type it. Each piece is saved to your visit, free, with your photo if you take one.
• Tap Generate guide to start listening.
Not at a museum? Scan a print at home or a page in a book.
Your collection
Every visit is kept, each label and your photo, with your favorites on their own shelf. Share a visit as a poster. Members can listen again anytime, even with no signal, and a copy in your iCloud follows you to a new phone.
About the guide
Tours and answers are written with AI and read aloud by a computer voice that runs on your iPhone. The guide can get things wrong.
Privacy
No account, no ads, no tracking. Labels are read on your phone, and camera frames are never stored or sent. Location, if you allow it, never leaves your phone. Nothing goes to the guide until you allow it. Then a label's words, the museum you name, your searches and questions, and any photo you take for the guide go to OpenAI to answer you, with no name or account attached.

I like all the fun details about each art piece. It covers so many museums. Now I don’t have to download an app for each art museum, they are all in one app. Also like the audio guide. Highly recommended!
This is amazing

Beautiful and awe inspiring. This is the type of experience that makes the Apple Vision Pro worth owning. Highly recommended!
For listeners who are blind or have low vision, your audio guide now describes every painting in the Gallery. Each tour opens with a description of the painting: who’s there, what’s happening, and where everything sits, from the brightest color to the smallest figure in the corner. It plays automatically with VoiceOver or Audio Descriptions, or turn on Describe paintings in Settings. Free for everyone.
